When you visit Llandudno there are several fantastic beaches only a stone’s throw away for you to enjoy.
Llandudno North Shore Beach

The views across the bay keep visitors returning again and again. This sand and pebble beach makes Llandudno a very special destination. Llandudno West Shore Beach
Llandudno is home to not one but two beaches for you to enjoy on your holiday. This is why it is one of the best seaside destinations. While North Shore Beach is the more famous of the two beaches near the hotels, the West Shore beach is a more tranquil alternative. With a less tourist centric atmosphere and a sandy expanse it is a popular beach with locals and tourists alike.
This is pleasant shingle beach near Abergele. The adjoining Promenade is great for walks and suitable for wheelchair users. Shops and a seasonal cafe line the beach and it is popular with walkers. This beach is particularly interesting because in 1977 it was designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This was because it was the best example of a vegetated shingle bank in the county.
Colwyn Bay / Rhos on Sea Beach
Colwyn Bay Beach, also known as Rhos on Sea Beach is only a very short drive from Llandudno. It is a gorgeous sandy beach and winner of a Blue Flag award. This beautiful, clean beach is ideal for swimming and playing, making it a big hit with the kids. It is situated on a large bay of three miles, which helps prevent the beach from becoming too crowded even in the height of summer. There are plenty of charming ice cream parlours to grab a snack just next to the beach and the views are breath-taking.
