Llandudno Pier

The pier at 2,295ft is Wales's longest pier and is regulary chosen for film and television scenery, including the 2002 filming of the forsyth saga. The pier entrance is directly opposite the Wildings, Llandudno Hotel

The Great Orme Tramway has been delighting visitors since it opened on July 31st 1902. An engineering marvel of its age, it's still the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on British public roads.

The four seater cars are carried on an endless cable over two miles long and which weighs over 17 tons. The lower cable car station is on the lower slopes above the Happy Valley and the entrance is reached by the paths round either side of the building.
Choose return (18 minute ride) or single from Happy Valley or the summit, where there is a cafe. Before your return journey enjoy spectacular views of Anglesey, Puffin Island and the mountains of Snowdonia. Great Orme Ancient Mines

The copper mines discovered below the Great Orme represent one of the most astounding archaeological discoveries of recent time. Dating back 4,000 years to the Bronze Age they change our views about the ancient people of Britain and their civilized and structured society 2,000 years before the Roman invasion.
A visit to Great Orme Mines is both an enjoyable and educational experience which can be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages. Walking through tunnels mined out over 3,500 years ago gives visitors a feel for the harsh conditions our prehistoric ancestors faced in their search for copper.

Built in the 20th century , the Summit Complex has magnificent views of Llandudno, Anglesey, Conwy & the Menai Straits.
Travel to the Summit by Tram or Cable Car, both journeys offer some spectacular views.
Drive to the Summit by Car, there is ample car parking and facilities for the Disabled.
A Bus service is available and will take you near to the Halfway Tram Station.

Conwy Castle

Conwy castle is a gritty, dark stoned fortress which has the rare ability to evoke an authentic medieval atmosphere. The first time that visitors catch sight of the castle, commanding a rock above the Conwy Estuary and demanding as much attention as the dramatic Snowdonia skyline behind it, they know they are in the presence of a historic site which still casts a powerful spell. Bodnant Gardens

Owned by the National Trust, Bodnant Garden is one of the finest gardens in the world, situated above the River Conwy on ground sloping to the south-west and looking across the valley towards the Snowdonia range. The garden is in two parts, the upper part around the Hall consists of five stunning Italianate-style Terraces together with herbaceous borders surrounding informal lawns shaded by trees. The Great Orme Country Park Visitor Centre is a great place to start your visit to the Great Orme, a spectacular coastal headland found only half a mile from Llandudno. Excellent displays describe and illustrate the Great Orme's history, geology and wildlife. There are also interactive and audio-visual exhibits in the Visitor Centre, as well as a wildlife gift shop where you can buy leaflets that provide more information about the Great Orme and the promoted walking routes within the Country Park.
